Dining in Context -
The
reception we received at Osteria Laguna was festive and
welcoming and our host, Richard, from We Ate New York
immediately took us under his wing, ensuring the event would
be special. I expected the initial tour and discussion
before the meal, but was most delighted that the manager
appeared at our table with each new course to elaborate on
what we were receiving. So the meal was informative as well
as delicious. Also on a culinary note, the risotto and
tiramisu were the best I have ever enjoyed. Thank you also
to Marco for sharing his knowledge of Venice during our
tour, increasing the distinctiveness of this restaurant for
us.
